My Guardian Program is an integral part of how I raise and care for my dogs.

It allows them to live as a beloved family pet, while also being a thoughtful part of my breeding program. Each guardian dog is placed into a local* home where they receive plenty of love, attention, and everyday life experiences.

As a guardian family, you welcome one of my highest quality breeding dogs (or puppy) into your home as your own at a very nominal upfront cost. You would be responsible for their daily care, training, and routine vet visits. Whereas I retain breeding rights for a limited time, take care of all hands-on breeding requirements, and fund all breeding related expenses including health testing, pre and postnatal care, whelping, etc.

When a dog is ready for breeding I always communicate well in advance and work closely with you to make the experience as easy and low-stress as possible. My decisions are always guided by what’s best for the dog—physically and emotionally.

Once a dog has completed their breeding journey, they are retired and spayed/neutered at my expense. At that point, they are simply your dog for life and remain with you forever, without any further commitments.

Being a Guardian is a unique opportunity…requiring time, trust, effort, mutual respect, open communication, understanding…and a shared love for the breed.
